Lagavulin is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky of exceptional quality. It's smoky, rich and powerfully-built. It's' said to be one of the oldest distilleries on Islay, consisting originally of 10 small illicit distilleries. Miles and miles of peat bog in the west of the island provide the raw material which imbues the barley with that distinct smoky peaty flavor.
